Which version of pilot-link are you building against? It's been quite some time since I used this, but I see that MAX_CONTACT_BLOBS is defined in pi-contact.h as of version 0.12.5: http://fossies.org/dox/pilot-link-0.12.5/pi-contact_8h.html. And pi-contact.h is included in export-contacts.cpp.
