I have been trying to debug this issue from a long time. Unfortunately I couldn't reproduce on my setup so not able to fix it. In order for me to know the cause, can you help me with the below log file and share that here or email me on [email protected]. Log file path - |
HI, I’m happy to help if I can.
The file path does not lead me to the file you specified though:

I even downloaded, launched, tried to register the app again but the file did not show up.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi again,
I spoke too soon — the log is in a folder which I didn’t notice. I have resaved the log without my personal info (changed my name to {user}) but there isn’t much to see.

Hi, is there any other way I can help resolve this issue? I'd like to use Stickies again, I'd even buy it again, but not if the purchase will be forgotten. Thanks! |
Here’s what happens when I hit “Restore Purchase”:
com.ashvin777.apps.stickynotes/Data/Library/Application Support/Stick-ies
[2025-01-20 11:39:08.208] [info] Purchasing com.ashvin777.apps.stickynotes.premium...

Okay, I give up. I have deleted the app and will find something else. Given that this is a longstanding problem for multiple users, I hoped for a resolution. You should pull the app from the App Store if you can't guarantee people will be able to use it after paying. |
Hi, I paid for the Pro version a year ago. I'm trying to set up a new Mac (selling the other so same number of installs) and I cannot restore purchase. I have tried over and over and I get the same result -- the non-pro version. My Apple ID is the same. I have tried deleting (including pref files) and reinstalling. I can see that many others, for months, have been having the same issue. Did you ever find a solution?
I quite like Stick-ies and honestly could just pay for it again but it feels wrong to be expected to if this is a long-time, common problem rather than a user-specific problem.
Please help me fix it.
