Custom slider response position

Hi! I'm using the spsych-html-slider-response plugin. I'd like to manipulate the position of the slider, so that on some trials (depending on a certain jsPsych.timelineVariable) it will appear on the left of the screen, and on other trials, it will appear on the left. Ideally, I'd want to do this without editing the plugin directly. How can this be achieved?
