We had a very fast introduction to Linux in the last lecture but I'm sure there are some people who found it difficult to follow.
If anyone needs a hand getting started with using Ubuntu and the terminal (how to create files, use vim, edit files, compile, move around, delete things, use git) please come and see me or Matt before next class. Matt's drop in details are given in #9 . For me you can come by appointment or drop in to my office (rm 628, econ building, 6th floor) and see if I'm free.
