Opening an image file over a SSH crashes qview

Environment:

• OS: Ubuntu 24.04
• qView version: DEB: 6.1-1-focal

Information:
I'm connecting to my NAS via SSH in Gnome's nautilus file manager and then select an image file. Instead of showing the image, qview hangs on a black screen and after some time the window "app not responding, do you want to wait or kill the process" opens up.

Let me know if I can add any logs or be of assistance somehow!
