H5 crosslide motor and controller

I have an existing single axis ELS set up and working and used this motor for the leadscrew " TS Series 1 Axis 4.0Nm(566.56oz.in) Nema 24 Closed Loop Stepper Kit w/ Power Supply" from steppers online.
I am confused about which motor and driver I should use with the 3d model housing linked here on thingiverse. Steppers online only list a hybrid motor not open loop in nema17 size.
Advice very much appreciated.

I don't quite understand the question. I have such a motor with such a mount. In principle, motors with a built-in and external driver do not differ in control.

Thanks for reply. The instructions suggest an open loop stepper motor which I guess are smaller in size.
I note that the link you provided is for a closed loop stepper motor with integrated driver. If this motor can be used and not too big for the housing it answers my question perfectly and makes for an easier installation.

Are you looking for a motor for https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6058899 ? It takes NEMA17 up to 60mm long. Closed loop ones can be a bit wider and/or have wires coming out of the back so may not fit.

Regular open-loop NEMA17 can be driven with any regular stepper driver, of course better to get a branded driver like STEPPERONLINE or RTELLIGENT.
