Steps to replicate:
Seems like indicator cannot correctly read the state of the keys on boot.
Could not test CapsLock because it gets turned off when Gnome shell starts.

Same behavior, The num lock status is not well displayed after boot and first login while sthe state is true

Once I press the caps lock key, the both are well displayed in extension
