Hi,

I'm pretty sure it has been asked before.

On/Off switchers in the popup menu only show the state of lock.
They don't allow to change the state of lock.

That would be very very very useful while remote controlling a desktop,
ie. being able to set capslock off on a remote machine with mouse…

Came here to say the same thing. Ironically a few years ago this was actually functioning!
