We found that running on intel SPR CPU UnixBench compiled with gcc 10.3 performs worse than with gcc 8.5 for dhry2reg benchmark.

We found that it is related with gcc 10.3 removing the -fcommon flag default, while gcc 8.5 has the -fcommon flag in default.

Is it a good idea to add -fcommon in UnixBench compile flags to solve the benchmark problem?
