Can there be an update to version 3.10?

I was wondering if there was an update to version 3.10.

I made a build of jamulus 3.10.0 and put it in my repo. You should be able to update using the Update Apps button.

I was only able to minimal testing, so please report back your results.

Hi, I just tried to execute sudo systemctl start jamulus-server to have the jamulus server start at boot time with no success. Any ideas about what I am missing?

jamulus-server on jambox is a systemd service. To enable a systemd service to auto-start on boot, use "systemctl enable":

sudo systemctl enable jamulus-server

This is mentioned in the comments for the configuration file

/home/pi/.config/Jamulus/jamulus-server.conf

which contains a few config items and other info about jamulus-server.

Thank you for pointing that out. I tried what you mentioned, and it says "Removed /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/jamulus-server.service. Created symlink /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/jamulus-server.servicd -> /etc/systemd/system/jamulus-server.service.

But the server was not started. I guess I am missing something.

"systemctl enable" is the command to set a systemd service to auto-start on boot. It doesn't actually start the service. If you reboot, it should start.

If you want to start the service immediately, without rebooting, use "systemctl start". You can do this after "systemctl enable" to avoid rebooting.

These commands are both listed in the config file I mentioned earlier.

That is the thing: I rebooted and it did not start... I will keep trying. I appreciate your answers, and indeed all the information is in the .config/Jamulus directory.

I can start the server with no problem, but not automatically upon rebooting yet.
