Known issues in the builds and deployments of the key4hep stack. Please check this list before reporting an issue. If there isn't a Github issue linked to the relevant problem feel free to open one providing details about it (what is the problem?, how to reproduce?, etc.).

• Issues with visualizations when sshing into a Linux machine from MacOS (geoDisplay crashing on nightlies #531)
• When using matplotlib on a Linux that is using Wayland there are errors related to Wayland. It seems the answer is to disable Wayland: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/69828508/warning-ignoring-xdg-session-type-wayland-on-gnome-use-qt-qpa-platform-wayland/69863722#69863722

Releases

• The CLIC / CLD reconstruction doesn't work on CentOS 7 but works on Alma 9 and Ubuntu 22.04 (LCFIPlus broken in nightly builds and latest release with CentOS7 #558)
• There a few buildtools, like libtools, autoconf and automake that are not picked up after sourcing the setup.sh script; instead, the ones from the system will be used when building after sourcing
