On animebook you could click the offset subtitles

Then click on a subtitle

This is way better and easier than the options:

Adjust subtitle offset so that previous subtitle is at current timestamp
OR
Adjust subtitle offset so that next subtitle is at current timestamp

as you have to figure out when a sentence starts, then use the options, then back off a bit manually. (Or maybe I'm missing a better workflow).

Doesn't have to be a button, but would be very nice if you could mark a subtitle with "this subtitle, is now at the end", with a bind or something.

That's the recommended workflow and I agree that your suggestion a nice alternative. The challenge will be in how to fit this into the UI without making it feel cluttered.

Simplest fix would be to just have a bind for it.
