Similar to the issue I saw in #1077 but this time, I confirmed that the pasting is not what's happening. This time instead, by clicking the center button on the TrackPoint, if a set of text or I should say string is selected, the string get deleted.

I can't confirm this issue on GMail's editor. So maybe this is VSCode specific?

Confirmed the same behavior occurs by clicking the center "scroll" wheel.
