12. Security Updates

The project SHOULD regularly monitor and update its dependencies as well as provide fixes to address possible security vulnerabilities.

Notes:

• To be effective, this monitoring should be done in an automated fashion (see section on Quality Control).

Fulfillment Examples:

• Use local or external tools to regularly check for known vulnerabilities in used dependencies (such as Dependabot, Renovate or safety)
