I've created a target (URL with subsection) for the English documentation:
https://gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php/Isotammi_addons#FilterParams_tool

the Finnish page is:
https://gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php/Fi:Isotammi_Gramps-laajennukset

If you use the same variable name as in .gpr.py for Gramplets ( help_url ) and mark it as a Weblate translation-ready string, then Translators should be able to re-target the button as translation pages are created.

Nick has agreed (in principal) that 5.2's registration for Add-ons should extend the help_url to a global parameter instead of being restricted to Gramplet type addons. In 5.1.x, the unknown parameter causes the register module to ignore the addon as invalid. I expect the URL naming convention to standardize on starting with "Addon:______________", like
https://www.gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php/Addon:EventDescriptionEditor

However, that standardization creates an ambiguity for this particular help_url. It is not good that we lack having separate pages for each of your Addons. Maybe the target should be something like "Addons:FilterParams_tool" with the Finnish translation being "Addons:FilterParams_tool/fi" and we just use redirect pages in the MediaWiki?

Note:
When the wiki is upgraded for Lua compatibility, we should be able to begin using a variation of their Extension template too:
