thats not that helpfull every time i try doing anything with yaml it just dont like it
as 4.1.1 seem to have almost nothing in here not require any of it any more i dont get the sigh in like i used to when going to the web page??

sorry release notes talk about all sorts of things i have no idea what its talking about

is there now no require meant for all this yaml stuff?

for example it says add ignore_strapping_warning: true

but i have no clue where you would do this and why do you have the red led on that port if it causes this issue?

You have 2 options:

Install the firmware on your ESP via ESP Web tools
Use the esp32.yaml (from main branch) to compile and install your firmware yourself in the ESPHome dashboard

Ok that sort of makes sense I install from the web site and then adopted into ESPhome dashboard But there was very little there so adding the esp32.yaml in there would make more sense Do you know where I can add in the “ignore_strapping_warning: true” into the esp32.yaml?

Please respond on Github not via email because GitHub makes a mess of that.

Your code contains a package reference to the repository, which ensures that all remaining code is retrieved from Github when compiling the firmware.

Having install 4.1.1 the figures are increasing very fast nothing like it was on 3.1.0 any ideas how I get the back to working correctly? What exactly do you mean by faster? Have you connected the photodiode PCB to the correct GPIO pin? Since v4 a different pin has been used.

If this is really a problem, please create an issue, as that is not what the discussions are intended for.

Still not sure why there is so little coding showing now!!

Is because u flashed it from the website.
and so you can get updates thats the maker has made.

Best think, flash it and connect it to the pinout of the how its hase been written on the site and end it shouldbe working fine for the rest of the time.
