spot menu intermittently not displaying in menu bar when focus is on non-spotify apps

SpotMenu intermittently not displaying in the menu bars for other apps.

Just installed on OSX 10.13.6. Sometimes spot menu is displaying in menu bar of other apps such as chrome or safari but sometimes not (music playing at all times).

Always present if I have spotify open but sometimes vanishes when I switch focus to another app or minimise spotify. can't seem to find any pattern to when this does / doesn't happen.

PS thanks for making such a great helpful little app

This is definitely happening for me too. And it's very intermittent - cannot seem to find the pattern for when it shows and when it doesn't, when changing to non-spotify apps.
