we can use SCIFIO to read and write from and to OMERO:

Browser is still missing.

To be clear, the SCIFIO support for OMERO lives here. And those plugins above lean heavily on SCIFIO to do the job.

Note that they use String right now, which is super hacky. But the SJC robust-io branch will fix that! (No more clear-text passwords, etc.)
