Hello,

verry nice project.
I have added two Kodi devices to the Kodi Connect Page.
How can I tell Alexa on which device the movie should be played? Alexa always controls the device which was added last. I saw a comment of you which says "Play [Movie Name] on [Device Name]". When I try this in German, alexa think, that [Device Name] is the name of a skill and says that this skill is unknown.

Thank you for your help.

Kind Regards

Hi,

I have actually never tried this myself. I've just copied that part from the Amazon documentation, as I'm have no control over that. Amazon/Alexa simply sends what is requested to play, and the device ID on which to play it on.
Maybe they can provide more help with this.
