Implement a User Rights Management
.
Granularity of user rights?

Possible solutions:

  • Roster Groups
  • Access Config

Roster Groups:

  • Easy to manage, one can add groups/add user to groups
  • Problems include: Check, if group already exists, Groups sometimes get broken by user Agent

Access Config

  • easy to setup
  • Problems could be: You need Server Access
  • Solution: Configure "Master User[s]" -> make Config writeable for the bot
