I tried to scan qr code and connect (Linux mint latest) but got errors.
The name of wifi network contains Turkish symbols. May be it is the reason.

Not sure if it is the same or similar issue:
I tried the current master branch (directly, without building deb) and scanning failed for me with this output:

./wifi-qr s
qr scan
grep: Trailing backslash
==================
Can't find Hoolitsege enda eest \ 
==================
Can't find Network and Can't Connect

The SSID with the issue is Hoolitsege enda eest :)

No problems for an SSID that has . and /.

The example I tested worked fine for me from current master.
