The next major change in the roadmap is to migrate plugins to use the Property/Provider API which constitutes a big breaking change. @musketyr created PR #496 to experiment with a possible solution. Gradle 7 support is also a braking change. Most of my projects remain on Gradle 6 as I'm not confident in Gradle 7's stability. Given the expected big break of embracing the Property/Provider API it might be worth releasing |
