Integrate with the Salt LSP server? #13
Comments
@marek-obuchowicz Is there any possibility this can get a little more attention? The extension is at the moment not registered as a formatter. This extension could potentially be very useful imho. |
At the moment, due to personal/work situation, i won't be able to invest time into this. If anyone from open source community would like to open a PR, i'd be more than happy to merge it. |
@cbosdo do you want to be my hero again? My own experience with Langauge Servers is zero sadly atm... 😄 |
I sadly have no time to be a hero these days... 🦸🏻 |
@dcermak How is your time for such an effort atm? |
None unfortunately. I also really don't use salt at all, combined with the insane complexity of parsing saltstack files, means I have little motivation. Sorry about that :-/ |
Not a problem. Thanks for the quick response. Let's see if at some point my desire for this is big enough to tackle it. |
Hi, @cbosdo and myself have hacked an experimental Language Server for SaltStack SLS during this year's hackweek at @SUSE. The project is still in a very early state (see: https://github.com/dcermak/salt-lsp) but we were wondering whether you'd be interested in collaborating in the future?
I think that it could be definitely beneficial for us to join our efforts here, resulting in less duplicated efforts. What do you all think?
