One does not simply use m without vowel after. The correct version is senpai, せんぱい.

@ridersx: Both "senpai" and "sempai" are correct romanizations of the Japanese word せんぱい.
"sempai" is closer to how it is pronounced, but "senpai" is more uniform so that ん always maps to "n".
