Runtime Deployment of the Driver:

From above, EBS CSI driver is along side external provisioner, external attacher and driver-registrar as a Pod. Both external provisioner and external attacher pod is deployed as daemon set that is responsible for volume creation and attachment; and driver-registrar is deployed as stateful set that is responsible for volume staging and mounting.
