There are some functions which are not introspectable:

  • ui_set_statusbar
  • dialogs_show_msgbox
  • dialogs_show_question

Is it somehow possible to add them manually? Thanks.

As a workaround it is possible to modify the file api/Geany-1.0.gir after executing ./autogen.sh:

Remove the attribute introspectable="0" and the last parameter node with name="..." of the functions mentioned above.

Now proceed with ./configure...
