Revert certain ignored non critical linter errors and fix them

Prior to PR #18, we've had some linter errors, but to keep the build passing I had to add this commit 20b813b, when we can afford to later this is for reverting the ignored errors and fixing them, there were several of them, none of them were critical though, mostly formatting related
