How long does it take for the image to update?

How long does it take after a pull request is merged for the image to update with their picture? I notice that mine isn't updating but I'm not sure how long it takes to update.

I am facing the same issue for my recent contribution as I am showing up on github contributions page but not on readme file of the repo.

If someone wondering about this, for me, it took about around 2 weeks for the image to update in the GitHub Readme. It seems that not only this contrib-img tools caching the image, but also the github itself.

I also faced this problem in one of my projects. Turned out, the GitHub contributors page is calculating contributors differently then the GitHub API (which is used in this project here). The API only lists authors of commits in main and I was squashing all the pull requests (which changes the author). Therefore the contributors were not showing in contrib.rocks while they were appearing in the GitHub contributor page. Not squashing PRs solved the issue and 1 day later the generated image was correct.
