Describe the problem

In XFCE4 we can't get the window border as we have in mate.

Expected behaviour

Having the correct buttons and window style from Ambiants and Radiant Themes.

Which themes are affected?

  • Ambiant-MATE
  • Ambiant-MATE-Dark
  • Radiant-MATE

Might be easier to achieve if the parent theme supports it first:

Particularly window decorations themselves, since we don't recolour them here.

For window buttons, assuming XFWM4 looks for them in a folder like xfwm4 (similar to metacity-1), this should theoretically be an easy one. Some point in the script afterwards could be a function to copy the patched graphics to the expected folder structure for XFWM4.

Alternately, you could replace the window manager from XFWM4 to marco (from MATE, originally a metacity fork) to have a true replica of the window borders. Through d-conf keys, window buttons can be repositioned to the left of the window like in the screenshot.
