  • after installing MMAP you need to add its install location to your PATH (e.g. put the line export PATH="/Applications/MAMP/Library/bin:$PATH" to .bashrc)
  • step 3 says to run create database childesdb-0.1.0 but MySQL doesn't let you do that (because you can't have periods in db names, I think)
