Especially with column blocks it is noticeable. I think the blocks should include the cursor, and not leaving the cursor dangling on the lower right outside of the block.
Line blocks would be improved too with a cursor-inclusive rather than exclusive block selection.
Say, one has line blocks on Alt-L : push and hold Alt, then hit L twice in succession, and ready is the marked line, no extra “select line” key needed. But as it is now, one has to Press Alt, then L, release both, move cursor down, press Alt again, L again. Yes, i know there is Shift-Cursor (those do stream blocks, and therefore depend on the cursor position).
