[Bug] absence of dns_resolve parameter causes error

I was trying to use RESTful API of the project but can't manage it since the dns_resolve parameter doesn't exist where the main function is called. This causes "object has no attribute 'dns_resolve'". I fixed it by adding the parameter but couldn't create a PR.
