While this package does the bulk of what we are looking for a first-party option would allow more flexibility and security in features/function.

  • Working around the timestamps is not desirable.
  • The meta: { data: { ... } } structure is not desirable.
  • Filenames are aggressively bound to the document IDs.
  • No version/publishable feature capacity without overriding.

To the end-user/developer this should be all/only under the hood. CI this into 2.x quickly.
