hello.
I am using slicer 5.6.0 Ver in a Windows 10 environment.
When using total-segmentation, the gpu is not recognized.
My gpu is GeForce RTX 3060 and I am using cuda version 11.8.

When the 'GPU is not found', I tried referring to the solution, but it did not solve the problem.

If you try to install pytorch by uninstalling it automatically from pytorch util and selecting cu118 in computation backend,
Installation does not proceed with a message indicating that 'torch' is not installed.

Is there anything else I should check?

I tried reinstalling the slicer program and module several times, but it did not solve the problem. Is there a solution???

thank you

Is this a laptop? Have you configured your NVIDIA settings to use the high-performance GPU for running SlicerApp-real.exe?

Thank you for your reply. I'm using it on a desktop, not a laptop. What does NVIDIA settings to use the high-performance GPU for running mean???

In most laptops that have discrete (high-performance) GPU, there is also an integrated (low-performance GPU). In your NVIDIA settings, you can set for each application if the high-performance GPU should be used for running it. I've never seen this on a desktop computer though, so if you have a desktop then most likely you have a different issue.

Make sure you run the latest Slicer Stable Release (5.6.2, not 5.6.0!) or the very latest Slicer Preview Release.

I'm currently using version 5.6.0. In the python environment other than slicer, the gpu is being used without a problem, but there is a problem that the gpu cannot be used only in totalsegmentation in slicer.

Is TotalSegmentator with GPU working well in Slicer-5.6.2?
Extensions for Slicer-5.6.0 stopped received updates quite a while ago.
