Needs a new release

The security bug #1003 means you should update if you are pulling source. Placeholder issue here to get out a new release. (10.0.1? But I'll need to diff it.)

@leethomason How is the state here? If I understand #1003 and #1009 correctly, than CVE-2024-50615 got fixed by #1009, right? If yes, please tag a new release. 😉 And thanks for the awesome work! 👏

Sorry for being pushy, I understand that you are doing this in your spare time. It would be very helpful for me to have a new release without CVE labeling. Thanks if you find some time for it!

Yes this is also blocker for us and it will be great if we have a new release including fix for cve
