There is no way for a user to know that there are information resources that are available to view unless they are related to a resource that they search for. And in many cases, there would be information resources that are not related to any physical resources. For instance, I have uploaded a few different plans and agreements, and there is nothing that indicates to a public user that something like that might be available to view. I am wondering if the easiest way to address this is to provide a filter for information resource type on the search page just like we have for other attributes. This may also lead us to want to label the other/existing search filters as "Resource Inventory" filters...for instance, you can't use the "Scott Statue Character Area" filter and actually see the entry for the Scott Statue Character Area. It only pulls up resources with "Scott Statue" as the Character Area attribute. So that can be confusing if you are looking for information on the character area itself.
