We have quite a few items that have special instructions coming with them (e.g. "please bring back dry", "dont put too large sticks inside", etc) - it might be an idea to have an additional field for items "instructions/hints/.." that display a popup to the volunteers when renting the item to remind the customer of this.

What do you think, does this make sense?
