{% include base.html %}
This describes the Z-Wave device ZW078, manufactured by AEON Labs with the thing type UID of aeon_zw078_00_000
.
The device is in the category of Wall Switch, defining Any device attached to the wall that controls a binary status of something, for ex. a light switch.
The ZW078 supports routing. This allows the device to communicate using other routing enabled devices as intermediate routers. This device is also able to participate in the routing of data between other devices in the mesh network.
Wall mounted switch for high current appliances, up to 40A. Power reporting.
Press the Action Button on your Heavy Duty Smart Switch
If your switch has been successfully linked to your Z-Wave network, its Status LED will no longer blink. If the linking was unsuccessful, the Status LED continues to blink.
Press the Action Button on your Heavy Duty Smart Switch.
If your Heavy Duty Smart Switch has been successfully removed from your network, its Status LED will blink. If the removal was unsuccessful, its Status LED will not blink.

Association groups allow the device to send unsolicited reports to the controller, or other devices in the network. Using association groups can allow you to eliminate polling, providing instant feedback of a device state change without unnecessary network traffic.
The ZW078 supports 2 association groups.
The Node IDs in Group 1 will receive Hail Command/Basic report (configurable) when Heavy Duty Smart Switch Gen5's level changed.
Association group 1 supports 5 nodes.
When the Heavy Duty Smart Switch Gen5 receives the commands Basic Set, Switch Binary Set, or Scene Activation Set it will forward the commands to all node IDs (in Group 2).
Association group 2 supports 5 nodes.
