Hi,

I found this project as I purchased a first gen H2O and was just wondering -- what work would need to be done to get it up and running on the said Kobo? I've got a bit of Linux experience and a fair understanding on how compilers/cross-compiling works from Gentoo.

It'd be great to get this up and running on the newer devices too!

Hi. The first gen H20 is imx507-based. You can give the current version a try. There's a fair chance it won't work, in which case you'll need to bring the u-boot and linux H2O changes from Kobo's source release (https://github.com/kobolabs/Kobo-Reader/tree/master/hw/imx507-aurah2o) to https://github.com/lgeek/linux-okreader and https://github.com/lgeek/u-boot-okreader.

is that what you mean by the "kernel upg?" note in the main table of the README file?

@anarcat probably someone to update the kernel and test it out! ;-) I may give it a shot.
