question about message forwarding (but now in the right place ;) )

In my previous question (that I opened an issue for), I asked if you forward the message to all of the peers if I get a message from one of them. but sometimes I dont want to forward the message! can I, in special occasions, opt out of this message forwarding? that special occasion is checked in NetworkBehaviourEventProcess<FloodsubEvent>::inject_event. is the source of the message is the same? (if I get a message from bob, and I forward it to alice, is the source bob?) if its not changing the source (which makes sense) then its solving my issue too

It does not change the source.
