Currently there is no way for shaders to keep track of real-time. The easiest way to do this would be to compare frequency with FrameCount.

How would you compare framecount with, say, 30hz, and what info would it give you?

I would prefer to have something like real time in ms. I've long wanted to deprecate FrameCount and replace it with something like:
vec4 time = vec4(framecount, oscillator, real time, TBD);
No branches or pull requests
