Inspired by #1581 there should be a way to submit video URLs to add to https://lichess.org/video (as suggestions reviewed by the content team).
Content creators must be able to publish... video... To prevent spam, abuse and content stealing, content creators must be approved by mods before they can post content. Titled players should be auto-approved to reduce red tape.
The video sections could use a complete change, it's kind of dead at the moment. Making it easy for people to add videos would be cool, and making it efficient to use for customers even better.
(2016) As a non-titled member who followed the official procedure for video submission months ago and still hasn't heard anything back, I suggest keeping the amount of red tape to a bare minimum.

it's seems like a tall order to make lichess.org a thriving hub for recent video exchange when people are already entrenched in youtube's recommendation, favorites, subscriptions, etc architecture because that's everywhere, it's built-in to TVs.
as a volunteer org, we'd need some viral magic in a bottle to make it worthwhile. topical tagging is a start, but where to find mod hours to watch new videos and ensure those are correctly applied?
