Missing highlight in tab-selected autocompletion

When using any auto-completion, fish suggests items underneath the current line. If you use tab to select the an item, it replaces the contents of the current line with the selected auto-completion. It also highlights the item which you selected.
This highlight is missing since installing lighthaus.

What does it look like?

In this example, I selected the second option but have no visual feedback/state.

What should it look like?

I removed only the lighthaus color scheme and this is how the highlight looks (light gray background).
