Main window is too slow after adding an app

I'm testing this app as the regular method to "install apps" in chromium browsers does not work as I expect in KDE DE. This one seems to work very well, speaking of the apps added, how they open and how they appear in the task panel is perfect.

However, after adding the first app, the main window that shows the list of web apps is slow and almost unusable. The window manager thinks the app is unresponsive (turning the UI gray). Clicking on anything takes more than 10 seconds to react.

I think I'm seeing the same thing on KDE. Almost every operation involving the main window leads to a hang and the window manager labeling it "Unresponsive". It eventually responds, so it is not frozen.

Other windows work just fine. And no problem using the web apps once defined.

Any way to troubleshoot or get more information?
