sorry @xaaksw , I did not notice your comment. I see that kotlin playground sends the code to a server to compile. This is against the philosophy of LiveCodes being a client-side app with all compilation strictly occurs in the browser as discussed here and here. Having said that, I'm exploring the idea of allowing custom user-provided plugins that allows using custom compilers even if it is not supported by LiveCodes out-of-the-box (see #481). I think Kotlin can be one of the first candidates for such solution. I may even provide it as an example for using plugins. Thanks again |
