Adding Perimeter value to the measurefinish results data

Is there a way to add the perimeter value to the measurefinish results data.? I think the current "length" and "lengthDisplay" includes only up to the last user inputted point and not the final path closing point. I need to grab the perimeter of the completed polygon.
