Even if you right click and open the app file on a Mac, it says not allowed and wants to trash the app. Any override you know of that will let it run?

did you try the latest versions? basically in place of a .app its an executable that you can right-click "Open" and that should signal the OS to allow execution

@clickbrain if you download the executable, right click open, then confirm in the apple popup that you're ok opening it. This should work, if not let me know and we'll try to debug further :-)

I've been able to run it on macOS 15.1.1 (Sequoia) as described.
