Is it really a good idea to crash it if we don't really know what the
command does?

probably not, in fact sometimes it doesn't reboot and needs to be power cycled :(

I can understand the setting of the clock thing, but unless we can find a
way to (cleanly) clear the screen its probs not a good idea to crash it
everytime we want to get it back to the clock

All this discussion is unnecessary if someone spends the time to find the "go back to clock mode" command in the assembler. I can't believe it'll be difficult.
