unless you have a need to run a container in host network mode, then you shouldn't be doing so. This removes some of the isolation between the container and host system defeating the purpose of containerization and opening potential security holes as the container would now have access to the entire host network stack. I use port 6005 for dockge on my system so i use 6005:5001 listed under ports and mine works perfectly. There is no need for network mode to be host and unless you have a use case that specifically requires it, i don't recommend it. |
