Apparently specifying the username forces Basic auth

After reading https://github.com/lsc-project/lsc-james-plugin/blob/master/sample/ldap-to-james/lsc.xml I would tend to think letting user name empty tends to apply bearer auth.

@remk do you back up this claim?

In such cases we likely should update the example @vttranlina
